Hamilton Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Ilan Davis
Ilan Davis was instrumental in extending Hamilton's winning streak to six on Friday. Davis was dynamite, making eight total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Noel Velazquez Delivers Best Effort of Season
Maxwell was led to victory by Noel Velazquez, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Velazquez rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns while completing 84.2% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Velazquez must have Quincy's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Velazquez rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 163 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in October of 2023.

Kayden Strong Goes Supernova in Hamilton Victory
Hamilton picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kayden Strong. Strong was unstoppable, rushing for 63 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 329 yards and a touchdown while picking up 13.2 yards per attempt.
This year, Strong has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 190.3 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had three passing touchdowns.

Hamilton picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Cesar Leal. Nobody could stop Leal as he picked up 95 receiving yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 74 yards.
On the year, Leal has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 34.4 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 14.43 receiving yards per game.
