Schley County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jamesen Hollomon led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Payton Goodin, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 16 rebounds.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Shalillan Kelley, who scored 15 points. Catavia Bennet was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Schley County's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Greenville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-15.

Marion County is coming into the contest with three straight wins on the road, meaning Schley County will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Greenville, they will be playing at home against Webster County at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Greenville is facing Webster County at the right time seeing as Webster County is stuck on a 18-game losing streak.
