The Ramsey Rams lost against the Dieterich Movin Maroons back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Ramsey had to suffer through a rough 70-31 loss at the hands of Dieterich. Ramsey has struggled against Dieterich recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Dieterich's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caleb Gephart, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The contest was Gephart's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Keck Landen was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with three steals.
Ramsey bumped their record down to 2-12 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dieterich, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
Ramsey and Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday at. Hopefully Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Saturday. Dieterich will finish 2023 at home by hosting Arcola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
