After flying high against Parkway South last Friday, Rockwood Summit came back down to earth. On Friday, Rockwood Summit were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 35-39 to Ritenour. If Rockwood Summit were hoping to take revenge for the 34-41 loss against Ritenour the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
The defeat dropped Rockwood Summit's record to 3-5. The win got Ritenour back to even at 4-4.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Rockwood Summit take on Webster Groves . Webster Groves are limping into the match on a seven-game losing streak. Ritenour will be playing at home against Pattonville at at 7:00 PM. Ritenour will be strutting in after a victory while Pattonville will be stumbling in from a loss.
