The Nebo Crossing Academy Bulldogs will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the N.C. School for the Deaf Bears at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th. Hopefully Nebo Crossing Academy is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than N.C. School for the Deaf in North Carolina (Nebo Crossing Academy is ranked 242nd, while N.C. School for the Deaf is ranked 582nd).
Last Thursday, Nebo Crossing Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 40-36 to Pinnacle Classical Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Nebo Crossing Academy has scored all season.
Meanwhile, N.C. School for the Deaf scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They came out on top against Non Varsity Opponent by a score of 62-49. The victory was just what N.C. School for the Deaf needed coming off of a 84-44 loss in their prior game.
Nebo Crossing Academy's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-3. As for N.C. School for the Deaf, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Nebo Crossing Academy strolled past N.C. School for the Deaf in their previous matchup back in January of 2018 by a score of 56-42. Will Nebo Crossing Academy repeat their success, or does N.C. School for the Deaf have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
