That's the first time this season that Garcia Carrillo scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Samara Grubbs, who scored seven points along with eight steals.
Tonopah Valley's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Odyssey Institute, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season.
