Hellgate has gone 9-1 against Flathead recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Hellgate Knights will head out to challenge the Flathead Braves/Bravettes at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hellgate has five straight wins, Flathead has 15 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Last Tuesday, Hellgate narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Glacier 49-47.

Hellgate's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Easton Sant, who posted nine points and six assists. What's more, Sant also posted a 67% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Chance McNulty was another key player, putting up 12 points.
Meanwhile, Flathead came up short against Sentinel on Tuesday and fell 50-38. The contest marked the Braves/Bravettes' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
Hellgate will have to contain Lyric Ersland as he made an impact in Flathead's last game. He dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Korbin Eaton, who had 11 points.
Hellgate's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points over those games. As for Flathead, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Hellgate has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 24.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Flathead struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24.8 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Hellgate was able to grind out a solid win over Flathead in their previous meeting on February 1st, winning 64-56. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Flathead's Jordan Griffin, who went 10-for-15 en route to 25 points and three steals. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Hellgate still be able to contain Griffin? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
