Clermont Northeastern played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Georgetown G-Men 61-26. The Rockets' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Among those leading the charge was Morgan Preston, who posted ten points and five rebounds. Liv Tracy was another key player, putting up eight points.

Clermont Northeastern's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-4. As for Georgetown, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clermont Northeastern will head out to challenge Clark Montessori at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. Georgetown will take on Manchester in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Georgetown is facing Manchester at the right time seeing as Manchester is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
