Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Spring Valley Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Calvary Christian. The game was a 34-34 toss-up at halftime, but Spring Valley Academy was outscored by Calvary Christian in the second.
Dominion Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Spring Valley Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-1.
