Resurrection Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Sterling Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 68-52. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.
Resurrection Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Graham Riggs, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Resurrection Christian's win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points over those games. As for Sterling, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.
Looking ahead, Resurrection Christian will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Strasburg at 7:00 p.m. Strasburg knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Resurrection Christian likes a good challenge. As for Sterling, they have already played their next contest, a 60-46 victory against Fort Morgan on the 24th.
