Corcoran has gone 8-2 against Strathmore recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will welcome the Spartans at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Corcoran took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Lindsay. With that victory, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
Melody Garcia made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Garcia was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Meanwhile, while Strathmore put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Summit Charter Collegiate Academy. The Spartans put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 17-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won five in a row.
Like Corcoran, Strathmore also got a great game from a two-way player: Gracie Gillis. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Gillis was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
In other batting news, Drew Anderson was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Addison Bidart, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Strathmore was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .517. They are a perfect 13-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Strathmore's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 16-6. As for Corcoran, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Corcoran has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Strathmore struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Corcoran came up short against Strathmore in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, falling 5-2. Will the Panthers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
