The Hamilton Heights Huskies's three-game losing streak  came to an end  on Friday. They managed a  57-52 victory over Western. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hamilton Heights also won the last time the pair played  back in December of 2022.
 Hamilton Heights' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Tyler Champion led the charge by  scoring 17 points along with five  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  John Irion, who  scored 13 points.
 Western's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Carter Biggs, who  scored 17 points along with six  assists and five  rebounds. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was  Logan Nelson, who  scored 16 points along with six  rebounds.
 Hamilton Heights' win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Western, they now  have a losing record at 3-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton Heights won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against West Lafayette at 7:30  p.m.  on December 16th. Western will be home for the holidays to greet  Oak Hill at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Oak Hill is hoping to put an end to  a three-game streak of away losses.
