Master's Academy hasn't had much luck against Mount Dora Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Master's Academy Eagles will host the Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.

Master's Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Martin, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Martin also put up a double, which washer first of the season.
Meanwhile, Mount Dora Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Countryside with a sharp 25-11 win. That looming 25-11 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.
Katie Bayly made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 6.1 innings while giving up five earned runs off six hits. Bayly was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring five runs and stealing a base while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances. What's more, she posted three hits, the most she's had since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Lily Bryant was incredible, going 5-for-6 with seven RBI, two triples, and three runs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 3.3 hits per game. Hallie Edwards was another key player, going 3-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple.
Mount Dora Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .596. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Mount Dora Christian Academy pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Master's Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Master's Academy came up short against Mount Dora Christian Academy in their previous matchup last Thursday, falling 7-3. Can Master's Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
