Cibola has gone 9-1 against Yuma recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Cibola will square off against Yuma at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Cibola 4, Yuma 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
While Cibola's win against Browne wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Cibola narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Browne 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Bruins: they've now won three in a row.

Isaac Lopez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Aidan Robles was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Jason Garcia also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Meanwhile, Yuma won against Gila Ridge on Friday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. Yuma won by a run and slipped past Skyline 5-4. The victory was nothing new for the Criminals as they're now sitting on three straight.
Josef Pastrana looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kane Huerta-Urbalejo, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Alonzo Fierro was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.
Yuma's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Cibola, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Cibola came out on top in a nail-biter against Yuma when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 12-11. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cibola since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
