Having just played yesterday, the Bruce Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Palmer Dragons at 7:00  p.m.  on January 25th. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  both teams posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.
 Bruce suffered their closest  loss yet this season on Wednesday. They fell just short of Water Valley by a score of  61-59. Bruce just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row.
 The losing side was boosted by   Ankavious Glass, who  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and 18  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Jay Cole Williams, who  scored 14 points.
 Palmer suffered their biggest  loss yet this season two weeks ago. They had to suffer through a rough  85-55 loss at the hands of Douglass. While losing is never fun, Palmer can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states  (they are ranked 180th in Mississippi, while Douglass is ranked 18th in Tennessee).
 Bruce has  been struggling recently, as they've  lost seven of their last eight contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Palmer, their defeat was  their fourth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 6-12.
