Harmony Science Academy waltzed into Tuesday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 52-45 win over Parkland.
It was another big night for Carlos Ceballos , who scored 25 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The matchup was his 12th in a row with at least ten points. Jaime Barbosa was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 4 steals.
Despite the defeat, Parkland saw an underclassman step up: Jayden Whitt scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Roy Ashton III, who scored 8 points.
Even though they lost, Parkland were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harmony Science Academy only pulled down five.
Harmony Science Academy pushed their record up to 7-5 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Parkland, they have fallen quite a ways from their 26-9 record last season and are now at 5-8.
Harmony Science Academy is on the road again on Friday and play against Del Valle at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. Del Valle is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Parkland, they will face off against William Allen at TBD on Wednesday.
