Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northside - Jacksonville). They took down the Richlands Wildcats 67-50 on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Monarchs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Northside - Jacksonville was led to victory by Joaliel Caraballo and Jamir Mitchell. Caraballo went 10 of 12 on his way to 20 points and eight steals, while Mitchell dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 boards. Mitchell is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah McKay, who posted eight points.

The victory got Northside - Jacksonville back to even at 4-4. As for Richlands, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Northside - Jacksonville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-41 defeat against Swansboro on the 28th. As for Richlands, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 74-55 loss against Jacksonville on the 28th.
