Softball Recap: Franklin Has No Trouble Against Rainier Beach

Franklin had lost three games at home, but after bumping their record up to 8-6 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Rainier Beach Vikings as they made off with a 23-1 win. Considering the Quakers have won six games by more than 14 runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Rainier Beach, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Rainier Beach's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Kabatxi, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. Big Dawg also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

As of now, neither Franklin nor Rainier Beach have any future games scheduled.
