Cobb has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. At bat,  Cobb  scored a  run while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances, while  Collum  went 2-for-5 with two  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Braley Martin was a standout: she scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Crissa Goodwin, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 On Bruce's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Taylor Turner, who  went 2-for-3 with two  doubles.
 West Union's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-9. They've been dominating during the  games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 15 runs. As for Bruce, their defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 18-8-1.
 West Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bruce, they will head out on the road to  take on  Oxford at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. Bruce's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2  runs per game  this season, so Oxford's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
