The biggest upset of the week belonged to Esperanza, who took down 186th ranked Esperanza, 24-21.
El Dorado moved up to 314 from 392 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Century. A 24-21 win over the Aztecs helped the Golden Hawks improve their standing.
Brea Olinda's dynamic duo of Richie Main and Jordan Brown proved tough for Canyon to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Main threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns and Brown had 75 yards receiving. Adam Ceja helped Brea Olinda's passing attack out by catching three balls for 58 yards.
Sean Pihl was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 150 yards on 18 carries as Foothill defeated the Comanches. Sam Stetson also contributed to the rushing game with 31 yards on the ground.
The Knights' Jack Gilchrist and Julian Moss have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Gilchrist has thrown for 1050 yards this season, while Moss, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 17 catches for 374 yards. Troy Kurtz from Canyon leads the league in rushing with 685 yards.
The top two teams in Century will face off this week when first place Foothill takes on second place Villa Park. Last week, Foothill beat El Modena, while Villa Park.

There should be lots of points scored when Dusan Ancich's team and Foothill face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Spartans comes in having scored 146 this season, while the Knights have scored 223.
Foothill extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Vanguards, 42-14. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
