Training Center Christian took down The Daniel Academy 55-36 on Tuesday. Training Center Christian pushed the score to 42-22 by the end of the third, a deficit The Daniel Academy cut but never quite recovered from.
Training Center Christian found their leader in underclassman Creed Lopez, who almost dropped a triple-double on 16 points, nine rebounds, and 18 blocks. Lopez is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Bryan, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Frontier School of Excellence earned a 46-34 win over Kansas School for the Deaf on Thursday.
Among those leading the charge was Henry Uti, who scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season.
Training Center Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Frontier School of Excellence, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
Training Center Christian couldn't quite finish off Frontier School of Excellence in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 and fell 49-46.
