East Bernard is a perfect 10-0 against Hitchcock since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Brahmas will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (East Bernard has eight straight victories, Hitchcock has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Hitchcock's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: East Bernard hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Brahmas' pitchers stepped up to hand Hempstead a 16-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Brahmas, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Kylie Zarate and Rylie Holder were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Zarate tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Holder pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up a single earned run in 11 consecutive appearances. At the plate, Zarate went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Holder went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Avery Kolb was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Abigail Garcia was another key player, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Hitchcock came up short against Van Vleck on Tuesday, falling 20-1.
Hitchcock saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was LesleyRose Batiste, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.
East Bernard's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hitchcock, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
Friday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. East Bernard hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. However, it's not like Hitchcock struggles in that department as they've averaged .371. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went East Bernard's way against Hitchcock when the teams last played two weeks ago, as East Bernard made off with a 14-0 win. Will the Brahmas repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
