The Cascade Cadets scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 66-34 win over Herron. Given Cascade's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Achaeans are ranked 425th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Cascade's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Connor Sanders, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Brady Trebley was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
When it comes to explaining why Herron lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isreal Cozart. Despite the final result, he scored ten points.
Herron struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Cascade pulled down 14 offensive rebounds.

Cascade will take on the Sparkplugs at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Herron, they will head out on the road to face off against the Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Southwestern is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
