Twin Loup is 0-9 against Stuart since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Twin Loup Wolves will be playing at home against the Stuart Broncos. Hopefully Twin Loup focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 41 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Twin Loup was the victim of a rough 51-26 defeat at the hands of Sandhills/Thedford. Twin Loup was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-4.
They used a three-pronged attack on offense:
Carsen Vincent,
Ragan Mauler, and
Miranda Olson posted five points each. Mauler also led the team in rebounds with 11.
Arin Smith took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Meanwhile, Stuart sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 38-35 victory over Bloomfield on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Stuart.
This is the second loss in a row for Twin Loup and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Stuart, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
