There's no place like home for Atherton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Flint Southwestern Academy Knights on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won five in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Atherton was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-3, 25-12.

Atherton's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Flint Southwestern Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
