Hill Freedman World Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Kensington 67-42. That looming 67-42 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hill Freedman World Academy yet this season.
Hill Freedman World Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaiden Copeland, who scored 22 points along with five steals. Copeland is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaad Lyles, who scored six points along with 14 assists and eight steals.
Meanwhile, Franklin Learning Center's 14-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a hard 63-46 fall against Swenson Arts & Tech on Monday. While losing is never fun, Franklin Learning Center can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 685th, while Swenson Arts & Tech is ranked 293rd).
Hill Freedman World Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Franklin Learning Center, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5.
Hill Freedman World Academy couldn't quite finish off Franklin Learning Center in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 and fell 71-69. Can Hill Freedman World Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
