Southern Wells' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cj Reber, who went 8 for 17 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Reber a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Johnson, who posted 13 points.
Union City was led to victory by Trendon Spence and Jackson Cowper. Spence had 15 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals, while Cowper went 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points along with six boards and three steals. Spence continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Caleb Lutz was another key player, putting up three points.
