Even though The Terrebonne Tigers have not done well against the Hahnville Tigers recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Terrebonne strolled past Hahnville with points to spare, taking the game 45-28. This was payback for Terrebonne, who suffered a 27-7 loss the last time these two teams met.
Jayce Johnson went supernova for Terrebonne, rushing for 282 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.
Terrebonne's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Hahnville, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 3-6.
Terrebonne will square off against Westgate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Louisiana (Westgate is ranked 45th, while Terrebonne is ranked 67th). Hahnville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
