Northern Garrett came out on top against Albert Gallatin on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Huskies took their matchup against the Colonials 7-3. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Colonials: they've now won six in a row.

Hunter Beitzel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Northern Garrett let Caleb Hinebaugh and Jake Chambers run wild. Hinebaugh got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Chambers went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Hinebaugh has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Landon Yoder, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Northern Garrett's record now sits at 9-5. As for Albert Gallatin, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northern Garrett will host Hancock at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Albert Gallatin, they will be playing at home against Waynesburg Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
