Freeport lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Donelson Christian Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. Everything went the Freeport Bulldogs' way against the Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats on Tuesday as the Freeport Bulldogs made off with a 13-1 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ryan Darrow and Carson Vogler did most of the damage at the plate: Darrow went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one run, while Vogler scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. What's more, Vogler posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Wade Digges, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Freeport always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Freeport's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Donelson Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Freeport will venture away from home to take on Booker T. Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Freeport will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Donelson Christian Academy, they will take on Destin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Donelson Christian Academy has given up an average of 12.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
