Meanwhile, Scripps Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They fell  7-3 to Mt. Carmel.
 Scripps Ranch saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cooper Sitton, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. That  run marked the first that  Sitton  scored this season.
 Scripps Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Desert Oasis, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
