Robert Tripp Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Northwood's Robert Tripp, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tripp rushed for 126 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.4) per game.
Graham's probably not too fond of Tripp given he always seems to get the better of them. When Tripp last faced the Red Devils back in October of 2023, he picked up 55 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Devin Witherspoon and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
Devin Witherspoon's big game helped extend Cummings's winning streak to five on Friday. Witherspoon's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 56 yards.
Cummings' win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Witherspoon and Cummings will take on Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brandon Powell Turns in Another Game with at Least 169 Rushing Yards
Brandon Powell was instrumental in extending North Moore's winning streak to three on Friday. Powell's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 169 rushing yards.
On the season, Powell has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 148.9 rushing yards per game.

Southeast Alamance Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Drew Easter
Southeast Alamance picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Drew Easter. Easter did his part (and then some), picking up 21 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.
Southeast Alamance's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Seaforth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cummings picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jaidyn Briskey. Briskey wasn't messing around, rushing for 51 yards and two touchdowns. The match was his fourth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made two total tackles.
On the year, Briskey has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 122.4 rushing yards per game.
