The Renaissance Academy Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 61-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Academy Park. While losing is never fun, Renaissance Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 543rd, while Academy Park is ranked 270th).
Despite the loss, Renaissance Academy still got an impressive performance from Ed Breazeale IV, who scored 27 points. That's the first time this season that Breazeale IV scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of DJ Savior, who scored ten points.
Renaissance Academy bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Academy Park, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Renaissance Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bristol at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. Academy Park will be home for the holidays to greet Sun Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
