Comenius has enjoyed a five-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. The Comenius Knights and the Robinson Bulldogs will round out the year against one another at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Comenius came up short against Greater Cabarrus S and fell 62-53.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Robinson's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Northwest Cabarrus by a score of 64-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Robinson's defeat came about despite a quality game from Londen Roseman, who scored 20 points. The game was Roseman's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Rowe, who scored 11 points.
Comenius now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Robinson, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3.
