The Canton Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Thursday after their fourth straight  defeat. They took a  42-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cowanesque Valley. If Canton was looking for revenge after losing  46-32 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
 Canton lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Ben Fitch, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and ten  rebounds. Fitch is on a roll when it comes to  rebounds, as he's  now  pulled down nine or more in the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Talin Williams, who  scored seven points along with ten  rebounds and five  blocks.
 Canton has  not been sharp recently as the team's  lost eight of their last nine contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Cowanesque Valley, their victory  ended a three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-5.
 Canton will  face off against the Redskins at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Sayre's favor as the  team sits on three straight wins at home while the Warriors have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. Cowanesque Valley will take on the Panthers at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Northeast Bradford is coming into the  match hot, having won their last eight games.
