The Laurel Highlands Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Connellsville Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Laurel Highlands' win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Parker Hoff, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave Hoff a new career-high. Connor Damico was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Connellsville got the win against Albert Gallatin on Friday by a conclusive 18-3.
Matthew Firestone made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Firestone was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other pitching news, Tyler McDowell looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk).
Back at the plate, Connellsville got a massive performance out of Grayden Gillott, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Linkon Keller, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Connellsville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Albert Gallatin only posted an OBP of .450.
Laurel Highlands beat Connellsville 5-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Laurel Highlands since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
