Jasper had to endure a 13-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the West Orange-Stark Mustangs on Friday as they made off with a 10-1 victory. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Mustangs on Tuesday, they had to take a 5-4 loss.

Kayson Owens spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on seven hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Jasper saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyson Pantoja, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Pantoja a new career-high.

Jasper's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-11 and their overall record up to 7-17. As for West Orange-Stark, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-19-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Jasper nor West Orange-Stark have any future games scheduled.
