The Graham Red Devils will venture away from home to  take on the Southeast Alamance Stallions  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Graham is looking for their season's first  victory.
Graham came up short against  Northwood on Wednesday, falling  18-3. That's two games in a row now that the Red Devils have lost by  exactly 15  runs.
Meanwhile,  after soaring to 17  runs the game before, Southeast Alamance was a bit more limited  in their  matchup  on Tuesday. They fell just short of Seaforth by a score of  3-2.
 Tatum Shelton put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Katie Lloyd was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last six games she's  played.
 Southeast Alamance has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record  this season. Graham's loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
 Graham suffered a grim  17-2 defeat to Southeast Alamance  when the teams last played  back in April of 2024. Can Graham avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
