The Franklin Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Kenwood Bluebirds at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Last Friday, Franklin suffered a tough 54-31 defeat at the hands of the Raiders. Franklin was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-9.
Meanwhile, Kenwood can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Patapsco 66-33 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kenwood.
This is the second loss in a row for Franklin and nudges their season record down to 6-10. As for Kenwood, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Franklin came up short against the Bluebirds in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 29-19. Can Franklin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
