Timpview has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Salem Hills Skyhawks at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Utah (Timpview is ranked 13th, while the Skyhawks are ranked 32nd).
Timpview pushed their score all the way to 59 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Wasatch by a score of 62-59.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Leah Atuaia, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lina Ballin, who scored 14 points along with six assists and six steals.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Salem Hills ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past Spanish Fork 51-49. The win was nothing new for Salem Hills as they're now sitting on three straight.
Brooke Warren continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Madi King was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven assists and two blocks.
Timpview's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-4. As for Salem Hills, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.
