The Assabet Valley RVT Aztecs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Oxford, falling 68-37. Assabet Valley RVT lost against Oxford in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 77-47 score last time.
Brady Marqoupis went supernova for Oxford, scoring 29 points. Andruw Martinez was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Assabet Valley RVT bumped their record down to 0-1 with that loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Oxford, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.
