Mt. Shasta's ELIJAH CHAPMAN rumbled for the longest rushing play in Sacramento Valley this season in his game against Modoc last week. CHAPMAN scampered for 90 yards on the play and finished with 153 on the day as his team lost to the Braves.
Durham moved up to 757 from 830 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Trojans were able to move up by besting Quincy 25-18.
Josh Heath threw for 223 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was 7-16 with 0 interception.
BRANDON ACORD provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Mt. Shasta fell to Modoc. He completed 8 passes for 104 yards and 2 touchdowns and also ran for 160 yards. ACORD's favorite target this week was CESAR GONZALEZ, who caught 4 passes for 80 yards.
Heath put up the best numbers in passing as Durham topped the Trojans. Heath's favorite target this week was Tyler Hughes, who caught 3 passes for 98 yards.
Dan Henry's team's Heath and Zach Marks have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Heath has thrown for 851 yards this season, while Marks has 14 catches for 401 yards. Cory Cook from Trinity leads the league in rushing with 569 yards.
The Wolves added to the longest winning streak in Sacramento Valley this week by beating McKinleyville, 22-13. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
