Palm Bay's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natalie Allen, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiara Williams, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Palm Bay's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-5. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.5 points. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
Palm Bay and Heritage will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Heritage is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. Somerset College Prep Academy will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against John Carroll Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on January 18th.
