The Lewis Angapak Blue Jays's six-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Saturday. They managed a 80-74 win over Kwigillingok. Lewis Angapak's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Kwigillingok lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Christopher Lewis, who scored 25 points. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of James Brink, who scored 19 points.
Lewis Angapak's victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3. As for Kwigillingok, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Lewis Angapak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kwigillingok also has no future games currently scheduled.
