Baseball Recap: Quincy Takes a Loss

Quincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plymouth North Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Presidents of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Quincy's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Plymouth North, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Quincy is taking a road trip to square off against Pembroke at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Plymouth North, they will host Marshfield at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in the Eagles' favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while the Rams have been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
