Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Central Magnet beat Community 60-54. Given Central Magnet's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while Community is ranked 352nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Trinity Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 24 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 77-53 margin over Craigmont. The victory was nothing new for Trinity Christian Academy as they're now sitting on three straight.
Central Magnet has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Trinity Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
