Cheyenne always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .725. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Awaken Christian only posted an OBP of .368.

The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.0 runs over those games. As for Awaken Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cheyenne will challenge Doral Academy Red Rock at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
