The Eufaula Tigers will be taking part in a tournament against the Geneva County Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
If Eufaula beats Geneva County with ten runs on Monday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Tigers came out on top against Carroll by a score of 10-5 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
Jade Barnett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
