Notre Dame-Green Pond came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Bangor Slaters with points to spare, taking the game 62-46. The 62-point effort marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Notre Dame-Green Pond pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bangor, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame-Green Pond will be home for the holidays to greet Southern Lehigh at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bangor, they will host Salisbury Township at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
