It was a proper cat-fight when Centennial duked it out with Grace Christian Academy on Friday. The Centennial Cougars came out on top against the Grace Christian Academy Lions by a score of 10-6. The victory was just business as usual for the Cougars, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Centennial let Gabriel Shepler and Charles Corbett run wild. Shepler scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Corbett scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-5. Mateo Bruzzese was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Grace Christian Academy, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will square off against Brentwood Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Centennial is facing Brentwood Academy at the right time seeing as Brentwood Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will take on Park Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
